EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE
Emotional Freedom Technique is a tapping technique which stimulates acupuncture points within the body, allowing the release of negative emotion.
The techniques may be used to treat a wide variety of physical and emotional issues, and as a simple form of self-administered therapy. For example PTSD, Anxiety, Stress, Fears & Phobias, Cravings and much more.
A person will tap on meridian endpoints of the body, such as eyebrows, under eyes, side of eyes, chin, collar bone, under the arms and hands. While tapping, they will recite specific phrases/affirmations that target a negative emotional component of a physical or emotional symptom.
The body can hold and trap negative emotion from a traumatic event. Using EFT can release the trauma trapped from within, and enable the healing process to begin.
